you actually had a link showing the '07 preview build, but mentioned the infamous 2005 trailer that Sony later acknowledged was CGI of a target render, GG themselves have gone on record saying it was supposed to be a target render, and the one Sony rep was confused and said it was in-engine...

I'm not disagreeing that they surpassed most of what showed in 2005, but I'm correcting your source of information. The 2005 was a "tech demo" and in 2007 they showed gameplay. 2005 was a target render, what GG felt they could accomplish (and IMO more or less beat, if you've seen them both) with the hardware...So yes, I agree with you, but you had a link that didn't contain the proper evidence.

Regardless, the final product is mindblowing. Anyone downplaying KZ2's visual fidelity is either in denial or needs an eye exam:

I like his energy. I like that he has his own opinion and defends it to the hilt. The interviews are usually enjoyable and informative. The setting didn’t call for over saturated colors, just to make things “feel” different. Also, it is called art direction. I loved the overall look of Killzone 2, and I’m not just talking about the superb graphics or animations. I think the Helghast and Helghan fit their character and history perfectly.

Killzone 3 with full destructible environments, running at 60fps and all that with the same graphic quality from the second game?

I don't know, that seems like too much for the PS3 hardware... I know that the Cell's powerful but all this combined is just crazy and it'll require a huge amount of precessing power. Even Infinity Ward need to lower the resolution on their games to make them run at a constant 60fps and all that without the destructible environments.

homey there's nothing to apologize for because the devs said the game will look identical on all platforms so when they show it on 360 if it is the same as the pc counterpart like they said then there's no reason to apologize. and in terms of brink looking better than killzone 2 I said slightly and the reasons why is because the game looks sharper more crisp thank killzone 2 did, and the colors make the game look more vibrant which brings it alive a little more that's all. Brink isn't leaps beyond killzone 2 homey hell no but those little graphical touches gave a slight edge to brink. keep in mind brink isn't done and what you seeing now is old

before guerilla publicly showed off the first in-game footage from kz2, they showed it off privately at gdc a few months before, whats funny was that a few press members at gdc tried to pretend like they werent impressed by it

so its possible that guerilla could be showing it, also they could just be showing their most up to date changes to the engine, which might not actually be called their "guerilla 2.0" engine in the same way that naughty dog calls uncharted 2's engine their "naughty dog 2.0 engine"

I thought the show was fairly decent much better than some of the trash on G4. I thought the interview was done well with his style. This is serious, and I don't mean this in a bad way, just very curious.

Why do you make your guest look so uncomfortable? You seem to get some good guests compared to some of the other blogs out there, but I feel you almost want to come off as unprofessional to remain true to your internet name's roots.

I could be completely wrong, but I feel that is why most comments on this site are negative towards you. I mean you have a good opportunity here with your site yet it feels like you purposely make yourself look unprofessional. 1. Define professional for me, because if that means having a show, reporting news, sharing rumors, getting official guest from the industry as well as the average community gamers, and talking about HipHop and doing this week in and week out what's not professional.

2. Is it the way I talk? well can't you understand what I'm saying if not then that's not my problem why because the people I interview understand me very well and answer the questions fine.

The point is that the reason why I get so many negative remarks is because people are only use to seeing someone from the suburbs or going to college for journalism to be official. On the other hand you have someone like me from the Streets in east new york brooklyn, no college degree, never majored in journalism, or nothing yet I've become pretty popular very quick and they hate that. Truthfully what have I ever done but show my passion for this industry and doing it my way.

In terms of delivering news people can say I make up stuff all they want but the facts are that I have been right about alotttttt of stuff and a some things i've been wrong about, and when I was wrong I fessed up about it so at the end of the day where does the hate really come from? ask your self that question if you was in my position

It's amazing to see how today HHG still manages to pull in the views :) He is a very good actor.. I mean having personally met him after MS Press Conference at E3 this year he obviously knows how to play for both teams..

Heck all he was talking about after this conference was how MS/Xbox will dominate this and that and how 360 is this good and how awesome blah blah..

Now he of course starts to talk up Sony and how they will dominate his story changes but this is the beauty of playing both sides of the fence you show a little love some one way and you get the support..

Apart from the rapping it was a good show and his reply earlier is true. He just gives his opinion and his methods work, he pulls rumours out of god knows where but we all know their somewhat true. I used to never watch this show, but when i gave it a chance i realised how good of a journalist he is. (I only watch segments of it as the hiphop stuff and his reviews are bs)

Some go as far as to describe HHG as unprofessional,etc. Well, about two weeks ago Tiger Woods was considered "extremely" professional. And I ain't hating on Tiger, but it ain't gonna be a good Christmas for him this year, I will say that. But you get my point. Please attempt to understand the dynamics of what he has managed to accomplish.

HHG has managed to rub elbows with people who are relevant to gaming. He has conducted interviews, captured and shared footage, all the while without looking like Rick Moranis from Ghostbusters. He gives gamers a diverse face, and although it may not be in your taste, it shouldn't be a license to hate.

HHG is in a position to make his best guess on many stories to try to get the jump on hot topics. All journalism is competative in nature, and he goes to places and gets to test or play games early, who would not like to do that?

All I can say to HHG is, keep plowing through all the hate. IF people are hating on you at an elevated level, then you must be doing something damn right. God Bless you back & Merry Christmas.
