Project CARS Hands-on [VRFocus]

VRFocus - Due out in November 2014, Project CARS is aiming to integrate both the Oculus Rift on PC and Project Morpheus, although compatibility may be released later down the line. Don’t be fooled into thinking the developer is treating VR as a simple add-on, however, as it has already posted plenty of VR footage from the title. Just how well it holds up when actually played remains to be seen but for now rest assured that the team is treating its integration with respect.

No one cares about VR already. Just release the got dam game and quit wasting time with this crap.

No one cares for VR on a Racing sim? What are you...stupid?

People who love racing sims are constantly trying to find ways to make their favorite racing sim even more immersive, more engaging. The fact that you can wear something that makes think you are in that 2 million dollar vehicle, where you can look inside it with no problem is freaking crazy awesome.

MSBAUSTX3545d ago

Didt say it wasnt awesome but i am not going to pay however much they are going to ask for these amazing devices and I am sick of it delaying games. Where are these devices anyway and who owns them. They are dumb and a good way to sit in your closet in your parents guest bedroom naked and play video games you loser.

I play Pcars beta build 680 every other day

I played Pcars with OC Rift at E3 and it was fatastic

Pcars is an OC Rift seller.

True I cant wait for the final build but Rift support and improved physics need finished.

Waiting for perfection is good

Since I won't be investing in another expensive racing wheel that is not future-proofed, I do am very interested in purchasing Sony's VR-Morpheus since this could/will be adapted by a lot of game developers.

Most likely a lot of future Sony game titles might have VR-enable.

MSBAUSTX3545d ago

And people make fun of Nintendo for their unnecessary peripherals. This is the most unneccessary one of the all. You have a TV. Buy a wheel instead of this stupid lock yourself away device.

VR is the future. You will eventually be a believer lol.

"You have a TV."

Spoken like somebody who has never used the Rift or Project Morpheus. Let me guess, you think it's just a big TV?

Profchaos34d ago

crazyCoconuts34d ago

I was lucky and held off on 4 until I played it in VR. It really is pretty awesome - you'll love it.

DaReapa34d ago

The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
