Heaven or Hell, hell is going to be for me cause of the waiting of this Gem.

This could very well turn out to be my favorite fighting game... I have absolute faith that it's going to be incredible. The only thing I'm worried about is that Arc System has really started to get into bad practices post-launch for their games with DLC... I used to respect the hell out of them early on, but their prices for characters and content are pretty bad.

I just care about one thing. That we get to fight THAT MAN. Come on, Daisuke! You've been teasing us for more than a decade...

@MightynoX

In Overture, Sol and Baiken already tried to attack THAT MAN and both got defeated easily. Also, THAT MAN had three servants and so far we only know one of them (Raven). So i think there still a long way until we fight THAT MAN.

I'm always amazed at what Arc Systems was able to do with the visuals for this game. Its truly beautiful and technically impressive when the visuals are actually all polygons, when it really does look as if they are super high resolution hand drawn images.

I wouldn't mind if the next Street Fighter game would borrow the looks of this game. IMO, it looks a whole lot better than SF: 4 art style.

I agree. Arc Systems managed to work wonders with the Unreal Engine. The technique they used is ground breaking when it comes to 3D/2D celstyle visuals. Before this game the Naruto series of games were the best at it, but now Arc System blew that out of the water.

For Street Fighter, Capcom really took a nose dive visually with Street Fighter IV. Going 3D did not in anyway make it look better than the Street Fighter III series. I'm not a fan of the excessive bulk of the Street Fighter IV characters, but I think it's still fun to play. The Street Fighter III series just has that shine that will last for years to come.

It's not even the 3d that bothered me. It's the terrible models of all the characters. I still remember when they revealed ryu how I reacted. I really how Capcom takes notes and employs this style of 3d shading in SF 5.

Why does this game remind me of Blazblue? Looks very similar and i like it lol

Inception3549d ago

That's because it came from the same company: Arc System Works.

Malphite3549d ago

Looks great. It's kinda hard to believe that the game runs on the Unreal Engine.

Revengeance3549d ago

Still in shock GGXrd runs on Unreal Engine.
