In the neverending quest to be the biggest, baddest game on the shelves developers are forcing more and more content into games. Unfortunately it often comes at the expense of the more important core mechanics of the game. Bigger certainly isn't always better.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. If there is only one thing I feel needs correcting in GTA at the moment, it's the type of side stuff you do.
I wish the kept it more in line with the tone of the games so to speak..
I mean in San andreas you had like the gang wars and stuff taking over blocks with your gang and then fighting off other gangs trying to take back. it was just a side thing but it felt in line with the theme of the game.
now you do bowling and tennis and shit, it's cool the engine is that diverse it can pull off stuff like that, but it's only fun for like the first 5 seconds and then you just want to move on to actually driving and shooting.
in the old gta you had those race corse challenges and if you entered a street race, you could jump out of your car, RPG the whole lot, jump back in your car and drive off and win the race. Now that was doing things GTA style!
Yeah who needs heists when the PS3/360 versions were bloated advertisements for the next generation ports?
