Xbox One At E3: What Microsoft Can Do To Win The War

I think Microsoft just needs to get everybody on the same page and have a positive and clear focus on what the Xbox means to the company, but more importantly to the gamers/fans.

Promoting Phil Spencer to the Head of Xbox was a great start for Microsoft to get back on track with their Xbox Division. Not only well deserved for him, but Phil knows what the gaming community wants, but also listens to them and takes all their feedback into consideration to make Xbox better (Much like Shu Yoshida does for PlayStation).

On Topic: Microsoft just really need to use their E3 Media Briefing wisely. Show games that the gamers want while leaving Kinect out of it (Much like they did last year). If they are going to show Kinect, show how the developers will use/integrate Kinect in each of their games, instead of having Kinect-only games. Don't focus too much on their Xbox Originals stuff, maybe 5-10mins tops. Maybe show some kind of Smartglass improvements or better integration. Try not to use a lot of teaser/cgi trailers for their games, instead try doing more live on-stage demos and show trailers featuring entire in-game footage. And most importantly, give Phil Spencer all the support you can, as this is his first E3 being in charge of the entire division and he's got the tough job of creating a show that can re-ignite and bring the Xbox One to popular status.

This E3 belongs to Microsoft, ever since Phil took over things seem to be on track and the focus is back on games.
I'm sure we are going to see good things from Sony as well, but every gamer out there is waiting anxiously for Microsoft presentation since they are the ones who need to turn the tides in the best positive way.

Exactly. Xbox is the underdog this year, and when you back a behemoth like Microsoft into a corner, that can only mean one thing: drastic measures. MS is bringing the big guns to E3. They have to, and they know it. No way they're botching this opportunity.

It's going to be amazing.

Dude, you can see the future? I'm sure this will be a good e3 for everyone. The only winners will be gamers.
