whats the price on these i wonder

Skate-AK3652d ago

$130 for the pro version. $50 for the cheaper pair.

Skate-AK3652d ago

I would never think to use ear buds as a headset.

Holeran3652d ago

At $130 for gaming you would be much better served with the gold series Playstation headset. Great sound, wireless, great mic, all around better money spent, if you are gaming. If you want to use them as ear buds for music then these would serve better.

TGS53652d ago

True but if you were to purchase this headset you can use them for any of you audio devices.

sashimi3652d ago

you can do that with the gold PS headset too since it comes with a standard audio jack for every device out there

A set costing 100+ its gonna do its magic

Audeze Maxwell are the best. The 90mm Planar magnets create a much better soundstage.

Goosejuice330d ago

I would hope so at 300$+ range

GoodGuy09331d ago

I love my arctis 7+. Great sound, ergonomics, and long lasting battery. Steel series is a great brand for headphones I'd recommend.

Is this better than sonys official headsets for playing exclusives?

Jin_Sakai331d ago (Edited 331d ago )

I had both and preferred the Artcis. It’s more comfortable and sounds about the same.

@jin
Well if it sounds the same I'll save my money then. Already own sonys headset with 3d audio

“Well if it sounds the same I'll save my money then. Already own sonys headset with 3d audio“

Sorry I was wrong. I had the Arctis 7 not the Nova 4 so I can’t make judgement. The Arctis 7 did sound better than the Pulse 3D now that I think about it and they were more comfortable.

If you want a big step up in sound quality and mic quality go for the Audeze Maxwell. The 90mm Planar magnetic drivers have an amazing soundstage. Probably the the best sounding gaming headset on the market.

I'll continue sticking with my A50S until they, inevitably, break. Then I'll see what's on the market.
