Wargaming explains what's next for World of Tanks

Wargaming's World of Warplanes game might be the company's latest title, but that doesn't mean it's done with the game that's been its bread and butter since it launched in 2011, World of Tanks.

Very curious to see how they'll make World of Tanks work on an iPad. It's not a game that's light on controls.

More Pay to win microstransections!

World of Tanks is hardly pay to win...

The only things that people might consider pay to win are premium tanks but that is only for people uninformed. These tanks that you can buy for gold are only there as crew trainers and for generating for credits. Compared to tanks in their tier they are overall worse than them thus defeating the pay to win argument. Everything else in the game can be purchased via credits, but somethings can be bought with gold to save credits(for those who would rather just spend money instead of time).

You can see how you can use gold in World of Tanks here, and as you see the gold options don't provide an advantage of not spending any at all.

my problem with games like this is the huge time sink involved in leveling etc. In War Thunder I have put nearly 120 hours in and im still not at jets and some of that time not much but some was as a premium member.

I also gave world of tanks a crack but the combat was too slow paced for me. Prefer the aerial battles

the only advantage of premium tank is that they can earn gold/exp more not a game breaking.every tank has a weak spot even an IM tank has its pros and cons

I love this game on the 360 Im addicted to it. Plz bring it to Xbox One! will love to see the improved graphics on the xbox one. It will be nice if all you unlock on the 360 can be transferred to the One. The best thing about this game its no pay to win like some or most F2P. I buy gold to support developer but is not needed.

Escape from Tarkov and War Thunder devs keep silent about the Ukraine War, still on Russian market

From Babel UA: "With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, sanctions against the aggressor also affected the video game industry. The largest game publishers — Ubisoft, EA Games, Rockstar — have limited sales of their products in Russia and Belarus. And Steam, GOG and Epic Games stores have stopped accepting payments in rubles. But Russian players have already learned to circumvent the bans of publishers and shops — there are many instructions about how to do this on the Internet. The situation with the game developers of the aggressor countries is even more complicated. Many of them are not officially Russian or Belarusian, but have long opened offices in Europe and work from Britain, Hungary, and other countries. Russian developers usually donʼt comment on Russiaʼs aggression against Ukraine, continue to cooperate with Western companies and sell their games to Western players. Babel tells about the games Escape from Tarkov, World of Tanks, and War Thunder, which are popular in Europe and the United States, and about the behavior of their developers, who deliberately do not publicly state their position on the war or order advertising from outspoken supporters of the Putin regime."
