Disagree buddy. I full appreciate the 3DS. It has a great library. Doesn't change the fact that it's on the weak side in terms of hardware though.

Even if Nintendo didn't strike that deal, Capcom would have probably skipped anyways. Capcom's support for the it a has been horrible! Why couldn't the Vita get Resident Evil: Revelations? I'm still mad about that.

Capcom goes to the lowest common denominator each time in terms of hardware for the MH series. It's cheaper that way. In fact they are still using the same engine from PS2. If it was on the Vita they would feel inclined to make a new engine. Just like what they tried to do when MH3 was announced for PS3 then taken away.

Woot! I'm always looking for new hunting companions, this is excellent. :)

For those wanting to get in some multiplayer Monster Hunter feel free to download AdHoc Party from the PlayStation Store. This works with both PSP and Vita, but note that only PSP games on the Vita are compatible with AdHoc Party as actual Vita games will not work. Also note that you will need a hardwired PS3, but it's so worth it. :)

AdHoc Party can be a bit tough to find in the PlayStation Store so I'll list directions on how to find it:

1) Launch the PlayStation Store on PS3.
2) Select 'Games.'
3) Select 'PSP.'
4) Select 'PSP Add-Ons.'
5) Select 'Sort.'
6) Select 'Name: A-Z.'
7) Select 'AdHoc Party,' it should be the 2nd option.

Oh, and it's free. :)

And aye, people still play Unite though the numbers have dwindled. Most hunters seem to get on around or after 7:30pm EST. Hopefully with the Plus release there'll be a resurgence.

I'll definitely play. I'm up to 977 hours so far and have yet to 'beat' the game. MHFU is in a 3-way tie for my favorite game of all time (the other 2 being Devil May Cry 3 SE & FFVII).

I'd suggest getting acquainted with the different weapon types in the Training School and to try completing some of the village quests.

MH is not easy and can have a slightly deep learning curve, but the feeling of accomplishment is huge. :)
