Hey, anyone feel like paying $59.95 for an Xbox memory card? That’s an original Xbox memory card. Not an Xbox One memory card (those don’t exist) not an Xbox 360 memory card — an original Xbox memory card, like for the first Xbox.
This picture was taken today, in a David Jones store in Australia. It is there, right now. It is on the store shelves. You can totally buy it… for $59.95.
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
I missed the elves in my first Dragon’s Dogma 2 playthrough, but I won’t make that mistake again
Downplaying every rendition of elves over a period of 70+ years? What kind of headline is that?
"I won’t make that mistake again." It's impossible to that mistake again, so of course the write won't make it again.
LMAO what?! Every article that sings DD2's praises just seems off now that I've played it for myself. Its a mid game, 7/10 at best and that is generous. The elves are a joke too, much less interesting than say the Witcher 3's elves or Baldur's Gate 3's elves.
The isometric RPG Broken Roads is available now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, courtesy of indie studio Drop Bear Bytes.
I think this would be more suited to a collector though. It might be worth even more in 10-20 years time provided that it is kept in good condition and left unopened.
Outrageous if someone spends that much money for another purpose other than that though.
Heck my local Walmart had up until just 2yrs ago, the Gamecube game 'Odama' on sale for $59.99.
So, seeing a xbox memory card for $59.99 wouldn't surprise me at all.
The EB games near me are still selling ps2 games in a bargain bin for 'under 15'. most are guitar hero and fifa games and are in blank cases or covered in stickers.
Still, we've got to admit just how bad it is for our gamer brethren down in Australia. I would think that it has got to be cheaper to import everything from the US et al than to buy down the street. Sad, very sad...
