PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the last generation consoles were all big sellers over the Holiday season. According to retailers, the PS4 outsold the “Xbone” almost two to one. It seems Microsoft just made too many mistakes to even outsell the console that reinvented the launch hardware failure.
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.
The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
The Nerd Stash: "The Wasteland is unforgiving, and there are a ton of brutal ways to die in the Fallout universe. We listed out the absolutely worst ones."
Microsoft just posted the third quarter of its 2024 fiscal financial results. The software maker made $61.9 billion in revenue and a net income of $21.9 billion during Q3. Revenue is up 17 percent, and net income has increased by 20 percent.
Xbox content + services up 62% while hardware down 31%... seems about right with the way they tout you don't need the hardware to play. People can play on their phones or smart tv or other means. I don't hardly play on my consoles directly since getting devices like the logitech g-cloud and ps portal. Which is to also say I have been playing more digital than physical because of these devices.
Too expensive hardware when others offer the same or more for less? Good work, Green Team.
"As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the recent Killer Instinct tournament showed us all that Microsoft never really did remove the DRM from their games. In the last round of the tournament, all of the players involved had to stop and sign in on Xbox Live just to prove they owned the game before the competition could finish. This may only be on first-party Xbone titles, but it’s enough to show us that Microsoft was at least partially lying about taking out DRM."

who cares who's winning I'm tired of these articles.
Xbox One is currently in stock at Amazon as of now.
Microsoft needs to do something drastic like remove the Kinect and lower their price to $350 but their ego and Pride won't allow them to do what's sensible, and by the time they do Sony will already have a stronghold on the market and will start rolling out all the big guns. I don't know who's in charge of PS4's strategic planning but they obviously have a mastermind behind the scenes. They have picked Microsoft apart in every category from the moment these consoles were announced. Sony have pinpointed MSFT weaknesses down to a T. I've never seen anything quite like it before, accept in competitive sports. Microsoft should have never taken the bait and launched early and instead waited until 2014 when they would be more prepared.
And the winner is "me" for playing games on my Xbox one!
