With all the hype surrounding Battlefield 4, a slew of related accessories and peripherals have been making the rounds. Astro Gaming has contributed to that lineup with the Astro A50 Wireless Headset Battlefield 4 Edition, one of the very best gaming headsets I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing.
Astro makes some amazing and very durable headsets and this looks amazing. Logitech G, today unveiled the new ASTRO Gaming A10 Gen 2 Wired Gaming Headset.
Astro is quality.
Almost ten years in, my original gen A50s aren't giving me a single issue, and still go toe to toe with the best gaming headsets on the market.
I do also have a HyperX Cloud Revolver S though, and it's very much a quality surround sound headset for a fair bit cheaper.
I have been using the A10s model since I stopped using my A50s. And I have to say they are pretty good. And now the new model of the A10s are even better.
Astro Gaming announced their new ASTRO.ID Collection 2 line for their Astro A40 TR headsets, now available to customize exclusively on their website.
Even though they finally died a couple years ago, my original Astro A50s was awesome and lasted me for the better part of a decade.
That said, I'm using the HyperX Cloud Revolver S, and the sound is also fantastic, and far less pricey. It's just less comfortable than what I had with the A50s, not that it's uncomfortable either though. I just barely even noticed the A50s when wearing them.
Do you travel with your games often? Take your Switch with you, or maybe carry around a laptop? If so, a new collaboration between ASTRO Gaming and San Francisco bag maker Timbuk2 may be for you.
fuck they are nice i already have the normal A50 and today i saw them at bestbuy for $239.99 better than the $300 i paid for them, only regular A50 BF4 is online online or torugh astro
Stop buying headsets, they're of lower quality and lower durability than a decent microphone coupled with an actually good pair of headphones.
Does anyone know if the new Astro Mixamp wired or wireless take DTS audio?
I bought mine for $300 with a panel card altogether I spent $400 great headset
