Though the two man team behind Raindrop, a total conversion HL2 mod turned full Unity 3D game, did not succeed at Kickstarting their horror-explorer title, all was not in vain, as The Hinterland, developers of The Long Dark, have brought them aboard.

The whole time I'm watching this video I'm thinking to myself "is this a STALKER Call of Pripyat mod because it sure looks like it"
Which is a good thing because most STALKER mods are great.
Simply stunning.
This is the potential of indie developers for those who enjoy downplaying.
This game is currently made by only 2 people. Definitely interested in backing it.
GOD i love the unity engine, it's so intuitive, just hope they come out with their own visual script creator/editor like Kismet, cause all them plugin versions are expensive as hell and lack certain functions. then it'll be a non-programmers dream
