Sony Bend working on Unannounced Action/Adventure PS4 game

Sony Bend may be working on an unannounced action/adventure PS4 game, according to the Linkedlin profile of Rick Stalder, Sr. UI Artist at Sony Computer Entertainment America.

Sony Bend did great work on Uncharted Vita, they deserve a shot at the big time like Redy@Dawn

I wouldn't, console uncharted is Naughty Dog, it wouldn't feel right if anyone else was making it, and I'd love to see them bring back something like Syphon Filter, we need another omega strain.

While it's unlikely that they would be making a console Uncharted or Resistance, we've seen it happen many times where a big studio moves on to new things while a sister studio takes over the big franchises. I just wouldn't be shocked it that happened here.

I think people are getting a little carried away. It doesn't say that he/Bend are creating a game.

We know Sony & a lot of Sony friendly devs are helping each other out. We have a pretty good solid idea that Unchartered 4 is coming out & may be revealed very soon. Do you not think it's much more likely that he/they have been helping out with that after doing such a good job on Unchartered Vita, while TLOU was being finished?

I'm just gonna say that each and every Sony studio is working on at least one PS4 game - Shu said that a long time ago.

Also, I don't think we've had any indication to an Uncharted 4, have we? I may not remember any hints being dropped.

Godchild, I thought the same! I love that every studio is working on PS4 games. We will definitely have great games for it coming soon.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE VITA?!!! No one at Sony cares to make a PS Vita game anymore :( Well, I am one to blame too, since I only bought the PS Vita to use it with remote play on PS4. However, there are great games on the handheld, and it has a lot of potential. Gravity Rush is a great example on how to use every feature of the Vita perfectly.

Sony needs to create a studio just for fan requests. Maybe introduce a list of games and have the fans vote for which one to be developed. The highest vote wins.

I just have this feeling that a next-gen Syphon Filter would have some of the best graphics on the system, and I don't know why. I just feel like it would be one of those games that would quickly pick up hype and get a Game Informer cover story if it's handled right. Bend did amazing on the other SF games on PSP.

Seriously These guys are amazing Devs and they've done quite well with Syphon Filter, They've done well with Resistance: Retribution and I think they did a faithful and well executed game on the Vita with U:GA.

I would KILL to see them Make a 3rd person Sequel to Resistance retribution on PS4 or even take over the Uncharted Franchise from ND and allow ND to move forward with a Brand New IP on the PS4.

Who knows, maybe they will be the ones to take over the Resistance IP. However, I don't think ND would just hand over their baby for console use. They may want to return to it themselves

Good for them they are a great dev. I hope they still do vita games though, it needs them. All the best Sony devs work on console games leaving b teams for the handheld. There's a couple exceptions like MM, GG, and Sony Bends game but the rest won't touch the vita. Tbh though the only devs I really love Sony owns are Team Ico and Naughty Dog.

I would have prefered a portable Uncharted sequel for Vita, Golden Abyss was good, exceptional for a launch title I think. However just think what they could achive with more time with the system.

Im hyped for next gen but sony seems to following what happened with the PSP & PS3 as they put all their teams to work on PS3 games the PSP got left in the dust with titles few and far between. I think they need at least a few Studios dedicated to making Vita games.
