They've changed the name? So... basically this was a real lawsuit after all?

LOL..I enjoyed that..nice to break up the console wars with humor..just loved it :)

3-4-5 Perhaps we will see games doing that in a couple years but even just improving AI, environments, and localizing games to run better depending on geographic location seems certainly possible right now. Hers is a good breakdown on their intentions for those interested.

edit, my bad meant to reply to 3-4-5 below

@JokesOnYou
Can't that already be done with just about any hardware?

I mean, like Forza, where it plays the way you play and adjust.
I've been playing games that did that before.
I don't see why you'd need servers for that identify your gaming tactics. Still cool.

I'm sure they have great plans ahead of them.

So basically they want to make games 1.5x more powerful than what the XB1 can actually do, and then stream that to your XB1/tv and let you play it like that.

It sounds like how you can play PS4 games on your Vita, even though the Vita doesn't have the hardware capable of delivering PS4 type graphics, it can stream the game to your device.

Now I understand what they mean by " Last consoles ever"....

If your console out of 1-10 is a 5 in power, they can make games that are 7, too powerful for the XB1 to handle, but then stream them to your tv via the box and let you play Max settings PC games graphics on your Xb1.

Lets see if they can pull it off.

I cannot wait for Sunset Overdrive!!! Seems to be the first game that will be sporting the "living-world" term. Cannot wait!

malokevi3846d ago

Thats one of my most anticipated games atm. I know we haven't seen any gameplay, but the concepts sound awesome.

Convas3846d ago

The Sunset Overdrive trailer was running in-engine according to an Insomniac Dev on NeoGAF.

RuleNumber53846d ago

Definitely sounds great. I just hope it's not one of those games that has big ideas, but doesn't deliver. Insomniac does good stuff though.

CRAIG6673846d ago (Edited 3846d ago )

Sunset Overdrive, quantum break and Titanfall are the 3 games I am most interested in for next year, I just can'y understand all the X1 negativity... oh wait, I can - fanboys.

Halo 5 too - obvs.

3-4-53846d ago

Nobody talks about it but Sunset overdrive was the game that really caught my attention outside of BF 4 and spark.

It sounds as if titles that they have a strong feeling about would get carte blanche in terms of cloud computing access. Halo 5 is going to be one that they'll pull out all the stops with, guaranteed. It'd be nice to see multiplayer matches in Halo get bumped up from 16 players.

heliumhead20303846d ago

Expect halo 5 to be a huge departure from the series mp wise. Crysis meets battlefield forsure

hankmoody3846d ago

Between that and Titanfall... I can't even process the excitement that's brewing. 343i is gonna make a killer game with Halo 5. I loved Halo 4 and they've been quoted as saying that they know what areas of the multiplayer they need to work on. Can't wait.

CRAIG6673846d ago

I would rather they went somewhere between reach and 3, Halo 4's multiplayer got boring pretty quick for me personally, it was good but 3 and reach didn't leave my disc drive for months.

heliumhead20303846d ago

I agree halo 4 mp got boring pretty fast. But the campaign and just overall feel of the game completely refreshed my excitement for the series. I Don't think they will go back to the older halo style of games simply because I feel they want to really give you the Feeling of superhuman ability.

cell9893846d ago

yeah sure Halo, but without Bungie it'll never return to its former glory

heliumhead20303846d ago

Halo 4 is easily the best halo

cell9893846d ago

um no Halo 2 was, and you know it, stop lying to your self like that to prove a point

Irishguy953846d ago

Agree'd, well...I agree that they can never beat Halo and being Bungies Halo, but there's a chance they could make a better game than Halo, Halo 4 certainly wasn't one of the better ones.

hankmoody3846d ago

I don't know, man. I feel like 343i did a superb job with the last one. I think we'll know for sure depending on the next one.

More marketing bluff by Microsoft

strickers3846d ago (Edited 3846d ago )

Onlive was tested inferior to Gaikai pre PS. Look up Digital Foundry tests. If anyone thinks cloud can compensate for hardware..... Dream on. Long way off for few and even further for most.
