Playstation companion app for iOS, andriod due in November

Announced earlier this year, the PlayStation App will serve a few different roles. It can turn your iOS or Android device into a game controller. It can act as a second screen for certain titles to mimic or expand the action from your console. And it can serve as a conduit onto Sony's PlayStation Network.
Via the PlayStation Network, you can use the app to watch what other people are playing and buy games that are downloaded directly to your console. You can accept invitations from other gamers to join in on the gameplay. The PlayStation App also provides a chat feature and can tap into Facebook and Twitter.

Hoping the app runs smoothly, has better animations (than the tgs presentation), and has fast load times. Sony will have to catch up to Smartglass but I think they can do better in the long run.

Did I read that correctly? You can chat with from the Ps App with PSN users? That's great obviously thru showed this off during that Sarah Ps4 UI trailer a while back but! Add far add we know v it's just text chat. Obviously the text chat room you'll be using to communicate with your psn friends is the same chat room the Ps4 will be using for cross gane chat with other Ps4 users and cross platform chat to Vita players. So taking that into consideration. Will you be able to join this chat room with your Ps app with your Iphone of Android device and voice chat with the Ps4 and Vita users? Because if c they are in there they are most likely going to be voice chatting not text chatting.

I hope the list of compatible devices is long. I'll be disappointed if they won't support S3 for example.
