Child of Light – New JRPG From The Team Behind Far Cry 3 – Announcement Trailer

Ubisoft has released the announcement trailer for Child of Light, a digital title to be released in 2014 on current- and next-generation platforms as well as PC.

Turn based RPG's you mean? RPG's took a huge part in this gen. SE just failed with them this gen and turn based is dying out for better combat systems

And yes I did love the RPGS going back to NES

Ubisoft has made so many great games this generation--the Assassin's Creed games, Far Cry 3, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Rayman Legends to name a couple that come to mind.

And Watch Dogs, AC4, The Division and Child of Light all look amazing as well.

It looks like Vita could easily run this game. Its a game a rather play on the Vita so I hope they release it on the Vita as well.

looks great, games like this have a special place in my library i think its the hand drawn backgrounds and colours they lend alot of character/atmosphere to the play and dare i say it soul which titles have been lacking in recent years with some exceptions ofc

We need more games like this. Especially from bigger game companies like Ubisoft. I think they are the only company actually getting this whole "AAA game AND indie game" future we will have in the next gen. The fact that they are releasing a ton of AAA games like The Divison, The Crew, AC, etc. along side Child of Light and Valiant Hearts: The Great War is awesome.
