Aren't all first print runs the "special edition" though?

Anyways, that article picture and the box art of the game... Is that a major spoiler in any way? The main character is in the middle, and there are two guys are in different groups. From the trailers, they seem to be friends with the main character, but here, the guy on the right looks evil, and on the Lucifer side. While the guy on the right (Jonathan was it?) is with the Angels, possibly with God.

If you've already played the Japanese version, can you tell me if it's a major spoiler or not?

The digital version doesn't come will all stuff. So that's why I said picking up the special edition.

The evil looking one is Walter, and the guy with the 80's hairstyle is Jonathan. It's not really spoilerish, from what I remember in strange journey there was a guy (Jimenez) who represented chaos and a lady (Zelenin) who represented Law. That concept pretty much applies to the mainline SMT games. All I gotta say is that expect to see lucifer in this game...just not in his original design.

Super excited for SMT4. Just finished up a playthrough of Devil Survivor Overclocked on 3DS (yes, I'm aware it's a spin-off) and now I'm ready for more SMT!

I've been stuck with DSO for over a year now. I think the final part of the game, where you had to climb up the tower to fight Amane's dad who becomes a demon (I don't think that's a spoiler, since the first time he shows up, you know he wants to summon the demon god). I just don't know what to do. I'm already Lv 60 with everyone (that is the 3 main characters, the busty teacher or nurse, and the annoying girl who likes to cosplay). I keep replaying the one Hard mission available, but it takes way too much time. What were your team like, what level were you, and what moves did you have?

I was around lvl 65 for my main character and 60 for everyone else. An attack that always works really well for me is Drain, because the special attack plus enemies always healing eachother is what screws you. Drain their mana, get demons with physical resistance, and it's a cakewalk.

Are you on the 8th day? The reason I ask is because I did Naoya's path (badass ending by the way) and I didn't feel like doing 8th day because I was burned out from all the grinding. Just wait till you reach the final boss(es) if you haven't already. Let's just say on my first attempt I was like WHAT THE HELL??!!?...but I came back on the second attempt and kicked their asses >:)

I just got DSO and i'm in the second day and so far, I love it! I can't wait to get the sequel! Question, is Devil Survivor 2 Break Record coming to the states any time soon or will I have to get the original DS version?
