Looks like what D3 should have. I'm going to keep an eye on this one for the time being. I really like ARPG's, a lot.

Excited for this and the new Torment game, miss old school PC rpgs.

I really hope this is good--I broke down and kickstarted for this and the new Torment. First and only 2 games I've done that for thus far. Hopefully they (and other isometric rpgs) do well so we can see a revival (or at least spiritual successors) of some of the other classics.

Visually i really like the detail although not completely consistent in those screens (the last was the worst--still not bad though just bland compared to others and 'dated' in comparison). Granted they had said they were going for a more painted look and personally I like the style and am nostalgic for BG/ID/etc back in the day.

In the end I could care less how they look as long as they are at least halfway as enjoyable as the 'originals'.

this game is going to be epic

this looks so beautiful, these games are right up my alley, they speak to me on an almost spiritual level

lol....I truly love these types of games that much!!

if you are looking for a old school newish game, Inquisitor is pretty sweet....half off on gog right now

http://www.gog.com/gamecard...

its a hard core isometric, 1/3 diablo 2, 1/3 divine divinity, 1/3 baldurs gate

somewhat text heavy, but I am loving it

its very difficult, but rewarding

I love the old icewind dale, planescape neverwinter games

top down iso's for the win!!!

Thanks for the heads up about Inquisitor--probably going to have to pick it up.

I really need a better look at gog's game catalog sometime. Think I've relied on Steam too much and don't visit it often enough for whatever stupid reason.

no problem, its a great game for people who don't mind a bit of reading and a challenge
definitely could be considered archaic by some, but if you like the old school with modern resolutions

it's drm free to so if you have a laptop and a desktop or whatever, you can put it on a few machines

runs great even on lower spec systems

also, grim dawn is gonna be so sweet, from the titan quest guys, top down ARPG's are my second favorite after the hardcore tactical rpg's
