When are WE getting it in the West?

Th4Freak4002d ago (Edited 4002d ago )

I hope soon because im getting seriously pissed, when PSO2 beta was announced I formatted my PSV to register and then when I tried to restore it, the backup disappeared from my PC and I lost all my f*cking saves, luckily the MGS2 save survived thanks to Transfarring but if it wouldn't been in the cloud I swear I'd travel to Japan and knock #$%! Hajime Satomi out with my PSV. Anyway, the best part is that I had to study for my finals so I lost the beta and everything was nothing.

But hey thats not all, a couple of days ago when Toukiden demo patch was released I decided to give it a try and after delete it I got excited because I was finally going to play PSO2 but that didn't happend because the game itself is 3.2GB and there's a 1.5GB patch and I only have a 4GB memory card... So yeah, gj Sega.

omkire4002d ago

Yeah I tried the Jp version as well. Can wait for the English version! I miss playing PSOBB.

SirBradders4002d ago

Me to i played up till about level 35 and then realised i havn't got a clue whats going on lol

Kenshin_BATT0USAI4001d ago

Same here. Played it in JP with an English patch(only some essentials were translated). It was seriously fun but the experience was killed by the fact that I just didn't understand a lot of what was said in the game.

PSO2 is probably getting an E3 announcement for a future release in US/EU. At least, one can hope so.
I mean that's the only reason I can think of to explain the lack of news surrouding this title coming west side.
BTW Sega, most gamers would've bought the game even if it's F2P; whatever covers the cost of bringing it here.

Skate-AK4002d ago

Yep. Either E3 or the Tokyo Game Show.

This game looks pretty solid. Hopefully we see it soon

WoW is a mess and it will continue to be a mess. Still, the less-developed MMOs are going to have trouble gaining a fan base because they lack content right now. Even if people do flock to FF14 or BDO, they'll go back to WoW if they fix enough features or give players a shred of hope.

Didn't know people still played this game

Jiub988d ago

Fewer people for certain but still a lot of people.

gleepot988d ago

Nah, I'll keep playing the game with the millions of other people. The writing on the wall says "game is not dead" even though people have claimed it is for 15 years.

Jiub988d ago

I'd guess that people are going to filter out but then come back for the next expac when the turmoil is over. I do worry about content delays, though.
