What Should Microsoft Do At Their Next Xbox Reveal?

1.) Open up the presser with a AAA like Ryse: Ryse has been teased for 3 years its time to see what that games about. MS needs to show some actual gameplay of that game.

2.) Get Cod Ghost out of the way: Show of COD announce you have some partnership with them and kick'em off the stage. And don't bring them back at E3. For 3 years MS has done that its no surprise now.

3.) Tease Alan Wake 2. Maybe with some gameplay.

4. Tease PGR game.

And show off the console showing the brand new UI running Xbox Live as well as show Cod ghost and Ryse being played on it.

As far as games goes, they should should at least tease those I mentioned. And leave Rare, Lion head, Respawn's new game, Black Tusks as well as other surprises at E3.

The rest of the show MS can talk about all the Entertainment media stuff all they want.

They know as that point the fans will want more after showing off those games.

1. Reveal rumored XBox mini.

2. Live demo of illumi room

3. Demo the awesom power of Kinect 2.

4. Reveal Killer Instincs and a real Banjo game (not Nuts and Bolts 2)...a Kameo 2 and new Viva Pinata would be icing on the cake.

1.Show the specs in a power point style presentation.
2.Announce for sure that there is no DRM
3.Announce that the next Xbox will play used games
4.Show off the OS, the new XBL and those features.
5.Show the new Kinect and what it's capable of
6.Show the actual console, and name the thing.
7.Show some of the entertainment options and features
8.Show SOME games, but save the majority for E3, I want surprises at E3, so show the COD stuff, maybe a little Alan Wake 2, PGR5 or Ryse, but same the big stuff, like Respawns possible exclusive for E3.

We'll get a bit of everything I'm sure, but I just want to see the damn thing and some of the games.

I've been playing COD since COD2 on the Xbox 360 when it launched. I like the game, lots of people do. I am very interested to see this new engine and game playing on the next Xbox.

My clan plays mostly COD games competitively, each new year brings the new game and we eagerly await that. We play some Gears and Halo as well, but mostly COD, it's the largest game and most competitive. A lot of people are going to be tuning in to see this game, I understand it isn't popular in the vocal minority, but I enjoy the games, and you aren't forced to buy it.

These past 2 in a half months Sony has indeed been in the spotlight ever since they announced their console. (as Michael Pachter predicted)

But, Realistically Sony has been in the same boat as MS this whole time. The only thing that Sony has done, was give devs the green light on its complete specs and give them more to work with.

Think about it, no console was present it was all done on PC. So as far as we know Sony is/was in the finalizing stage just like MS. Showing the console and running it will give people peace of mind sorta speak, and the media won't have to speculate as much. Like they have with Sony's conference.

Of course they announced games, partnerships and that the console exist. From that point of view Sony did have the edge from a "announced" standpoint. Getting the gamers hyped.

Not that it'll give MS a huge lead in hype. 19 days later E3 goes down and Sony will reveal its console. But it will give MS something very special for 19 days at least.

1. Show off the hardware's new features (ie. the rumored playing a game, pausing it and accessing other apps on the system. maybe simultaneous like have the Xbox Music player playing while you play games.)

2. IF the controller is different, show off the changes.

3. Show the improvements of the new Kinect. Show off some impressive techniques that will actually make me want to pick one up and use it.

4. Crackdown 3! Watchdog style graphics with Crackdown 1 gameplay!

5. For jezuz's sake a new Perfect Dark! I mean seriously....

6. If true, emphasize how the new Box will be 100% BC with the 360.

I think the most important thing they could and should do is to make XBL into something that's worth the $60 because at this current state, it's almost fair to say that we're not getting the bang for our buck that we used to. I recently (finally, actually) took a look at the PS Plus program and what it is that they offer and I have to say, even though the games they give away for free are already a couple of months old, they're making sure that customers are walking away incredibly happy by the fact that they're getting free games with their PS+ subscription. I've been a loyal XBL subscriber since its inception and now I actually feel the sting of this little detail. MS will definitely revamp and improve XBL in time for the next Xbox but to add more reward type goodies of the sort that PS+ currently offers would make a lot of people happy and keep them ahead of the curve.

taking the 21st off so I can see what they have to offer and I also have the 1st 2 days of E3 off to watch the presentations. I only care about games, games and more games not of the Kinect kind though. The 21st & E3 will determine if I own a Xbox next gen like I have the last 2.
