It’s probably fair to say that the PlayStation 3 was dealt an unfortunate hand when it came to multiplatform games. The complex architecture of the console meant that most third-party studios struggled to get to grips with the machine, resulting in plenty of dodgy ports – especially in the system’s earlier days.

PlayStation boss Shuehei Yoshida wants the gaming industry to continue to chase its creative dreams.
Shu I agree but right now Sony themselves are working on more than 5 live service games
He’s been at PlayStation since the beginning, and seen the games industry transform beyond recognition. He talks unlikely successes, AI, and gaming’s future.
I can survive with some to many multiplats being inferior if its only slight...Just make sure you continue to dominate on 1st/2nd party games.. Ill be kool with that
Better resolution, frame-rate, textures, lighting, AA, AF and ... should be obvious in PS4 version of multi platform games !
Sony did phenomenal job with PS4 architecture and specs !
I'm getting a PS4 for exclusives and the back catalog of awesome Sony titles; however, assuming they are not lazy ports, I think for me the Wii U versions of games would be the best. Haters gonna' hate, but Wii U owners know how much of a difference that second screen makes when used well. Already great examples are Assassin's Creed 3, Batman Arkham City, and of course any game that supports off screen play. I know that I should be able to play PS4 games on my Vita, but I don't quite yet think bandwidth is where it needs to be to play PS4 games on the go. Anyway, for everything else(EA games that I must own), I have my awesome gaming PC.
That said, I can't wait until I see more of what the PS4 has to offer!!! I'm also really excited about what Microsoft will be bringing to the table. Just a few more weeks until the announcement! It's good to be a multiconsole gamer.
That would be nice, but to be honest I diddnt even care that some multiplatform games looked better on Xbox, the differences were so small that you have to put them side by side to notice. you still got the same experience with the game.
People bashed PS3 so hard when it came to multiplats and Sony took that to heart. They are really listening to every complaint people have had with PS3(Updates,installs,voice chat,PSN store upgrade, streaming videos, etc)
