Enodo Releases An Impressive CryEngine 3 Demoreel

DSOGaming writes: "Enodo has released a new demoreel from its latest work that is powered by CryEngine 3. Enodo aims to bridge two worlds, with only one purpose: to level up its client’s business by questioning cutting edge Real Time 3D technologies, to show that the mechanisms governing the world of video games are powerful and will revolutionize the way to understand urban or industrial projects, their development, and their communication. In other words, this isn’t a video-game and this is running in real-time. Think of it as a tech demo of what can be achieved with CryEngine 3. Enjoy!"

Spectacular visuals. Hope that next-gen platforms will be able to offer this IQ

CryEngine 3 has some much potential. If only developers started taking advantage of it, we'd be enjoying this kind of graphics

Cobain194020d ago

Doubt current multi-platform games would look that good. PC exclusives on the other hand could look, though those games would need a big budget

It's a very versitile tool, i've been working with it for about a year now and it's potential is impressive, the ability to design and apply your work in real time is a real time saver. UDK can be a pain in the arse at the best of times to check your work (although UDK is very powerful)

It's a shame we don't see more devs using these tools but i fear the licensing costs are a little too high to make it feasable for smaller devs

@d0nni3: indeed, this gen was not kind to CryEngine. Hopefully, next-gen will be

CE5 has a higher framerate but CE3 looks better at times...

I guess this is because CE5 is just supposed to be a Cryengine for VR and not much more

Imortus_san2949d ago

CE3 looks much better, more defenition and more vibrant colors.
