AMD is launching their latest Radeon HD 7990 “Malta” GPU next month and the first performance benchmarks have already hit the web. The benchmarks leaked compares the upcoming GPU against the GeForce GTX Titan and the GeForce GTX 690, both of which cost $1000 US similar to the Radeon HD 7990′s price point.
Sales of Arrowhead Studios' third-person shooter, Helldivers 2, have surpassed 12 million copies, beating God of War Ragnarok's record.
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map is going to bring several changes to the in-game island, and Epic Games may have leaked some of them.
Gematsu writes: "Cooperative third-person shooter Helldivers II has sold 12 million units as of May 5, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Arrowhead Game Studios announced."
And well-deserved. I'm having a ball of a time so far. Just need to change out my heavy armour, it's a murder on my stamina and sprinting.
SIE managed to find success with gaas quicker than I suspected. Arrowhead did a great job getting past that initial launch difficulty, I've been playing again recently doing mostly solo missions. Can't even get off the damn planet after completing everything, lol.
12 million is crazy, but it also paints an opposite picture to what the forums would have you believe about gaas. And it being more successful then the single player games of late also kind of proves to an executive gaas IS. what the consumer wants.
Hmm...it should beat an almost year old GPU[690]and single GPU[Titan]..I'm not impressed because AMD waited until 2013 to release a dual GPU to do battle with one that been around since last year.
$1000?! Who has time for that???
Family-Guy esque Herbert: "mmmmmmm". Will certainly be good for my eyefinity setup. If only more games supported multiple monitors out of the box and not have to rely on tertiary hardware :/ Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider are examples of great native Eyefinity support! The 7990 looks to be a beast but really whether it's Nvidias or Radeons dual card in your PC, your doing just fine =P
X2 Titan LE's should push atlest 15.5k in the first bench (fire strike). Lets have x2 of them on one card :)
crushes 660.....and melts anything within a 20 foot radius of its exhaust vent due to scorching heat. par for the course with an ati card tho
