How can he do that....HE'S A CLONE, if he didn't do it in Pokemon Red/Blue and didn't do it in the first Pokemon film then how can he do it now. It comes off as them forcing it in.

If Mew could do something like this, fair enough since he was cloned from Mew thus acquiring it's powers but since that hasn't been shown....well it's just silly

This would of worked better if it was a clone of Mewtwo with Team Rocket trying to pick up the pieces of it's legendary experiment. With it being a clone of Mewtwo it would explain why it would look even more different. Basically a clone of a clone

I don't see why it's "forced" or even why anyone agrees with you.

One of the first and most well known elements of Pokemon has been "evolution". Over the years we've seen established Pokemon get higher forms, new paths and in some cases earlier forms than we've already seen. If anything is "forced", it would be that. So by the same logic, if they can actively rewrite the history for them without it being problematic, why is Mewtwo an exception? Furthermore, why is it more realistic for Mew to have said power anyway? Most clones are bioengineer to be better than their original, which can also be said for Mewtwo (thanks to several Pokedex entries).

It's not an evolution. Legendary pokemon don't evolve. This is clearly another form that metwo gets under certain conditions just like Deoxys or Giratina.

That said, I like that they are expanding on their old pokemon. They should have done that with black and white. We still need some evolved forms for farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Pinsir, Lapras (baby), Aerodactyl (baby), and Tauros, but this is a step in the right direction.

This is dumb and I hope he gets some other alternate transformation as well, like a mecha-mewtwo or something. This form just does nothing for me. Hopefully they don't nerf base mewtwo's stats to try to make this one more appealing game-wise.

He looks horrible for mewtwo. If this is an evolved form worst one yet. He gets smaller and less badass. It could work for mew tho. This would be better as a form between mew and mewtwo.

Pokemon just isn't the same anymore, in my opinion they should've left it behind years ago. Or they just need to completely reinvent it into something new like they did when it first came out.
