I hope for a new Ratchet & Clank next Gen.

abzdine4031d ago

let me rephrase that:

I hope for a REAL new Ratchet & Clank next gen.
All4one and Qforce are really lame.

Of course IG will say good stuff about PS4 because Ratchet and Resistance are Sony properties. Now the scenario that needs to happen is that FUSE will fail and they go back making a real Ratchet for us. This serie sells well.

Prophet-Gamer4031d ago (Edited 4031d ago )

I'm pretty certain Fuse will fail. Insomniac has basically been forced to butcher their original idea for what it currently is and there is absolutely zero hype or hell, zero news about the game even though it's only 1 month away.

I really hope this brings them back to Sony because I think that's where they shine best. Not to mention that it's know SONY allows their devs way more liberty than other publishers. I really don't understand why they decided to leave.... and go to EA. It just blows my mind.

I also don't get why the heck they butchered the newer Ratchet games. They felt like cheap attempts to make money for their other games and I really wish SONY hadn't allowed that (though who knows, maybe it was Sony's idea). I mean, seriously.

All 4 One seems to be a prototype for Fuse. There is a lot of the similar mechanics

Skips4031d ago (Edited 4031d ago )

Fuse failing is inevitable.

After E.A. having a "focus group" turn it into generic poop, any interest WHATSOEVER in it took a COMPLETE nose dive. lol

I like how people complained about Sony not marketing Insomniac's games but look at E.A.! They ain't doin JACK SH** for Fuse! LMFAO!!!

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY outside of N4G, and maybe 10 or 11 people who saw the trailer on Youtube knows what the crap Fuse is! Isn't it coming out in a few months or something???

Point it,
I doubt it'll do NEARLY as well as Resistance 3 under Sony, (1.29 million).

Judging from the hype off this game (Which is non existent). Would be lucky to even reach 200,000 copies. lol

SoapShoes4031d ago

I didn't think they were lame, just spinoffs. I only played the demo of All4One and it didn't seem horrible. Qforce/Full Frontal Assault was very fun imo. A good tiemeover until a proper R&C game.

Knushwood Butt4031d ago

I only played the demo, but All 4 One seemed pretty fun.

I'll probably pick it up at some point.

I hope that they give Ratchet & Clank some rest.

A next generation successor to Spyro the Dragon game would be a nice new IP.

We may see Ted on Stage at E3 this Year.

Agheil4031d ago (Edited 4031d ago )

A REBOOT for Rachet and Clanks sounds great to me because after "Tools of Destruction" is went down hill , besides Quest for Booty.

Agheil4031d ago

Apparently I'm one of the few. I don't really know, it just bored me a bit, i loved the previous games and Tools/Quest for booty just because I was always immersed but when I played a crack in time I found myself pausing the game or just switching to something else. This same thing happend to me with GOW:Ascension. I've played every GOW( Including the PSP releases) and had high hopes for this game but I wasn't as immersed to where I would be playing all day until I finished the campaign, but Ascension's MP is amazing. I don't know in the end That's I felt about the game.

abzdine4031d ago

Tools of Destruction is actually one of the best in the series, and they released it in 2007 in the beginning of PS3 lifecycle and this game impressed me very much.

shivvy244031d ago

i think a crack in time was the best in my opinion, btw when i got ToD back in 07, the cartoonish graphics stunned me due to amazement

Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster Review – An Epic Tale Of Pixelated Portrayals

Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.

If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.

The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
