Glacier928: "Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is proof that the new Team Ninja has what it takes to develop further installments in the franchise. I can’t stress enough that Razor’s Edge is the quintessential version of Ninja Gaiden 3 that should not be missed by any NG fan. If you already own the Wii U version, there’s no reason to pick this up again on the PS3/360 (even if there are some extra costumes). However, if you held off for Razor’s Edge to come to the PS3/360, then don’t pass this up at all. With one of the best combat systems ever designed, a coherent story, devilish difficulty, tons of extra content, replay value, a truly exceptional soundtrack, and a raw intensity that little to no games can match, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is a must-own for any NG and/or hack-and-slash fan. The game’s tagline may be 'Violence Reborn', but I say it’s 'Ninja Gaiden Reborn'."
It's been 10 years since the launch of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge on Wii U - it's about time we received another sequel.
In the conclusion to a three part series, CV takes a look at the most recent Ninja Gaiden games, for better and for worse.
They need to make a true sequel to Ninja Gaiden 2, that was the most satisfying combat I've experienced in a hack n slash game.
been playing 1&2 on and off since they were released. I usually will play until I get frustrated then take another year off lol. Nver tried 3 or the 4th one even though they are in my backlog.
I tried to go back to Sigma but good god those controls are just insufferable. Couldn't do it.

NG:RE is good (2 was better though) and I havent played the others. My kids will likely get a kick out of bolt and tembo while I will give the F:13th the old college try.
The games with gold selection is trash. Besides Friday the 13th. Ninja Gaiden 3 is the worse in the whole series. Bolt and Tango...laughable
NG:RE is better then 1 or Black. Waaaaay more options. Better graphically. More playable characters. More costumes. More weapons. More ninjitsu. More enemy variety. In comparison. The first game is basic af.
Its strange how I am seeing overwhelmingly higher review scores for the PS3/360 release of this than I saw for the Wii U even though they are exactly the same.
story of internet,
and its funny, the wiiu got the extra costumes a few days before the other versions was released,
What would have been "proof that the new Team Ninja has what it takes" is if this game wasn't a re-release of the Ninja Gaiden 3 that they originally made and were ultimately forced to go back and change after endless legitimate criticism.
Well if you have the two versions of this game like i have for the xbox 360 than i can assure you guys that the latest version Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge runs much more smoother, better framerates,no screen tearing, when compared with the original and first version of this game. Its another kind of experience not only in the gameplay but also technicaly, its better, and for that i thing Team ninja have my congrats!I just feel sorry and dont understand why they didnt release the first version of this game like intended.
