The Metal Gear Solid 5 Master Theory

CVG - Ok, that's the easy bit. As we predicted in last week's 'The Phantom Pain: The Unifying Theory, Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are chapters in MGSV, with the former acting as a form of prologue.

epic for sure.. MGSV is a must buy

Hey I just thought of something: What if Liquid also had some of Miller's DNA in him too? Think about it, Big Boss and Miller were the "parents" of both MSF and Outer Heaven.

With Snakes amazing knack for being a great soldier, and Miller's brains, is it possible the patriots blended their DNA too? I mean, it's crazy how Liquid not only looked like Miller, but sounded like him too.

PLUS, Liquid was far smarter than either Solid or Naked Snake. His intelligence was off the roof. He masterminded the entire enslavement of the human race via the Sons of the Patriots system. A system that took the entire mental prowess of the Patriots to create, and Liquid just simply waltzed onto the scene and completely took over everything! Lol.

Just a crazy theory though. Wonder if Kojima is thinking to do the same thing.

kingdomtrigger4039d ago

Wait but wasn't that just ocelot with nanomachines hypnotized to be liquid?

Donnieboi4039d ago

Yeah, but even in mgs1 liquid already set things in motion.

Pillsbury14039d ago

Can't wait to experience this masterpiece, kojima is a genius!

kingdomtrigger4039d ago

Its kind of weird because I thought that the gameplay we have seen from ground zeroes was the opening of the game, and if that is the only level in the entire game, how is it open world? I mean I know that ground zeroes is a smaller prologue but if the event of saving chico directly leads into the destruction of mother base, then how is it going to have open world elements?

" 2018 - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

*Note: There are other games in the series, but we're sticking to the main story canon"

Since when was MGR cannon...I'm pretty sure Kojima said it wasn't cannon.

Anyway I'm just hopeing at the end they will flashforward to after Guns of the Patriots and will set up the next game so it will feature Solid Snake. Kojima can easily come up with a new threat and can easily make it so someone has found a cure for his ageing. It would be great if they kidnap him to cure him only because they want to try and clone him like in the past with Big Boss, so they (new threat) can make a perfect army.

or Kojima can finally remake the original Metal Gear 1 and 2, with glorious PS4 graphics. We get to play a s a young "rookie" Solid Snake

Root4039d ago

I would like to see a remake of the first game but I would love to see a different take on Metal Gear Solid 2, what the game would be like without Raiden.

If they create a new timeline then you could create more Solid Snake games without ruining the ending of MGS4. Maybe in this timeline they would known about the aging problem and would cure it before it happens.

Now we'll have to see how much the Master Collection will add to those numbers.

Number1TailzFan175d ago

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Stanjara175d ago

...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.

Minute Man 721175d ago (Edited 175d ago )

Are they counting every game?

Edit: they did

Nyxus175d ago

Yes, these are total lifetime sales of the entire series.

ApocalypseShadow175d ago

.... mostly with the help of PlayStation.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…

Cacabunga191d ago

I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

micdagoat19191d ago

I do wish they would remaster all the soul reavers

micdagoat19191d ago

it was done this morning though

goldwyncq191d ago

The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.

Chocoburger191d ago

This review arrived just in time for launch. Perfect timing!

RupeeHoarder191d ago

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.

YourMommySpoils191d ago

Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.

RupeeHoarder191d ago

It most certainly does not lol.

andy85191d ago

Have you player Cyberpunk since the first day? It's absolutely stunning now

1nsomniac191d ago

One of the worst games ever made. Absolute overhyped trash!

Snowb420191d ago

The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.

Shane Kim191d ago

The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.

KyRo190d ago

The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.

MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
