Cheat Code Central's Josh Wirtanen writes: "After I got Most Wanted U installed (I got a digital copy rather than a physical one), Muse’s “Butterflies and Hurricanes” started playing during the game’s opening cinematic, and I felt like I was returning to an old friend."
In this special episode, Shawn Long of Nintendo Enthusiast takes a look at 5 Underrated Wii U games that he feels should be in every system owners collection.
In my opinion, the list of overrated WiiU games is far, far longer.
Mike from mii-gamer:
Need for Speed: Most Wanted U is a superb game; one that is thoroughly addictive and superbly crafted. As it currently stand, Most Wanted U is the best racing game on the Wii U and an outright amazing game, not to the credit of the console, but to the talent of the developer, Criterion.
Wii U weekly deals and sales from eShop, Amazon, BestBuy, Frys, Gamefly, Newegg, Bullmoose and Cowboom.
I would get it on Wii U, Technically it was an exclusive for the Wii U so thats the system that has the best version because of the gamepad.
The disagrees on the Wii U version being better are fanboys, and that's fine. All versions are great BUT the Wii U is better because of the gamepad. Common the entire game was initially designed with the gamepad in mind. Delustional fanboys. Why can't you just let a couple of games be better on Wii U.
You say the visuals are the same but they are noticeably improved - with the Wii U version using PC textures and an improved lighting engine.
i sometimes do not understand how these people get jobs when they should be researching their material in journalism! had this kid googled criterion nfs wii u he would have known that they have upped the graphics to PC textures and improved the night time lighting. The fact he gave the ps3 version a higher score when it has a worst frame rate and less content in the box is amazing? and had he gone on twitter the game developer has not ruled out further dlc but said if people support the game on wii u, i.e buy it then the extra dlc is logical.. also what about the excellent miiverse intergration! did he even play this thing.......
Check-It:
"In the end Criterion has brought NFSMW to Wii U apparently effortlessly, although I’m sure a great deal of effort actually went into the transition. The game looks and plays better than the previous home console versions, standing shoulder to shoulder with the PC version in terms of graphics, and the added Wii features just sweeten the pot. While many launch window ports on Wii have felt rushed and overall shaky, NFSMWU screams like a V12 roadster doing 160 on the interstate. Whatever Criterion has done, I hope other developers learn how to coax this much raw performance out of the Wii U, and soo"

So What's the disconnect?
Why do some people see the change and others don't?
Got the game for $30 bucks on the EA Origin site. Now comes the wait for the mailman. Hopefully they will understand the urgency of the situation and RUSH the game to me :P
