"If the CG rumor is proven true, the biggest shocker in all of this would be the foreshadowing which took place just a few weeks ago by an unsuspecting David Cage of Quantic Dreams while on stage at the PlayStation 4 reveal. Let's go back for a moment to this reveal in mid February and refresh everyone's memory.
David starts his presentation by saying that the one feature he wants the most in future hardware platforms is the ability to convey "emotion." He referred to it as the "holy grail of video game creators." Now, doesn't the holy grail sound like something Hideo Kojima might want a piece of?
Cage then shows us a brief demonstration of the new engine he and his team have developed running in real time on the PlayStation 4 hardware. During the demonstration he made the following comment:
"This is the quality we can get from our future games, and we know we can go even further..."
Well, how much of a lead would Kojima have in the race for realism on...
Hideo Kojima is widely known as a video games auteur, but what are his best games outside the Metal Gear franchise?
Quantic Dream are set to offering hands-on opportunities at PAX East 2024, but which game it will be has not yet been revealed.
During the latest episode of HideoTube, Kojima talked a bit about Physint and the other projects he's currently working on.
That is a fantastic interview. Physint is a love letter to the fans. What a legend.
I'm guessing OD will also be coming to PlayStation, as the trailer states for all players lol
I really really miss MSG. For me its not a PS gen if there is no MSG. So this news is a God send for me.
I want to believe!
If Phantom Pain isn't a MGS game once everything is revealed at GDC, I'd be really surprised. It almost seems to obvious at this point where someone is going to pull a fast one.
Ha!
if it is cg rendered on ps4 then nvidia tech demo just got owned lol.
People actually believe he was CG? lol
I wonder if those same people think all outside life is CG too. A multiplatform engine will not have better visuals compared to what Quantic Dream has.
