Opinion: Defiance an Interesting Premise but will it work?

Will Trion and Syfy's attempt at making a MMO/TV Show duo work or will it fail horribly? Makes me hope SyFy isn't running the whole show

Well they could have just gone with some crappy Facebook game tie in to the show, we need to keep an open mind on this one, I'm interested to see how this turns out.

I think it definitely has potential, it certainly kept me occupied for quite the time and made me want to pre-order a copy. Only question I have is whether or not I want the physical disc or digital download.

Me too. I remember putting a lot of hours into it before it went free to play. After, it went f2p, I didn't play it near as much, but it makes me nostalgic.

I liked the show and picked up a sealed collectors edition of the 360 game for $5 at a thrift store a couple years ago.

I gave it about a dozen hours, was fun even tho MMOs aren't my thing. But to even keep me around that long is impressive lol
