Little Kid Spends All of his Dad’s WoW Gold On Pets

One of the new phrases this year in China is that property is hard to protect. Well, it seems that goes for virtual property, too. Last week, a gamer in China posted on the World of Warcraft forums about how he almost lost all of his hard-earned WoW gold in the blink of an eye.

Lol, why does your son know your password for WoW? Anyway, it's better than when I got hacked and lost all mine, only to find that Blizzard said it had been too long since it happened to get my money back. At least he got something out of it.

One thing I have learned about MMORPG's and RPG's general is not to get too attached to them. Second is that if the game requires you to grind countless hours just to enjoy the endgame and the grinding isn't even fun then it's not really worth my while.

There are plenty of other games out there to try and enjoy and MMORPG's come and go and everyone will loose their character some day.

Well to me, Warcraft was more about exploring... I was always so excited to get my level up to see the next new area. Then when I got to the max level, I started playing less and less. Now it doesn't even appeal to me all that much anymore. At a certain point, I realized I was paying monthly to get on and stand there while chatting to people because I had nothing left to really do.
