GE: Famitsu broke most of our hearts this week. But now the magazine has a chance to do so once again!"
Game Rant participates in the Megaton Musashi World Cup, checking out the game a little bit beforehand and winning the first round match.
This could be fun as they make great tables. Go big or go extinct. Prime your senses for a neural handshake and step into the cockpit of a Jaeger. It is on you to cancel the apocalypse when Pacific Rim Pinball comes to Pinball FX on May 16.
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Persona 5
Fuck Famitsu. They lost my respect when they teased a big, surprising story for MGS fans, right after The Phantom Pain was announced and everyone figured out it was a new MGS game. Then the next issue came and there was nothing. I think the only Metal Gear related story in the issue was a reprint of an MGR story. After that, fuck them. They've been making big teases every week now and it always ends up being a big letdown.
I have a feeling that this one will indeed be MGS related and will in fact be SURPRISING or confirm one of our assumptions about The Phantom Pain or Ground Zeroes. It's just a feeling. And I am not sure if you are aware but Kojima is in Dubai and is holding a press conference on the 17th(this month). We might get news then.
My guess would be:
Metal Gear
Persona
Gundam
Macross
Dragon Quest
Final Fantasy
There's always the potential for a nice, big feature on Dragon Quest VII's remake, or news on Versus XIII. And Macross 30 is coming out in less than two months, and hasn't really had a -big- magazine feature yet. Same for Gundam Breaker.
Of course, (as is obvious) I'm tackling this with a PS3 focus. It's very possible their big article could be about a Wii U, handheld or even mobile game.
