CDPR is so on point that it hurts.

shutUpAndTakeMyMoney4142d ago (Edited 4142d ago )

As long as they stay pc orientated they shall remain great or be like Activition.

I just hope there will be less pirates nexst time around. They don't deserve it.

DragonKnight4142d ago

Yeah, because being a pc dev automatically guarantees greatness and all else is shite. pfff.

bakasora4141d ago (Edited 4141d ago )

Witcher 3 unveil on June 2013. Release date March 2014.

NYC_Gamer4142d ago (Edited 4142d ago )

I'm happy that CDPR is here to teach Bioware how mature rpgs should be made...

fossilfern4142d ago

100% spot on! Bioware are dead in the water as of now.

AngelicIceDiamond4142d ago

Agreed, Move Over Bioware. CDP is coming for the RPG throne.

To be fair, EA did buy out Bioware.

NYC_Gamer4142d ago

100% agree,EA ruined Bioware.

fossilfern4142d ago

This is true its beacuse of EA. They would get some rep back if they made KOTOR 3 but they gave us that MMO which I personally didnt want or like.

da_2pacalypse4141d ago

@fossilfern LOL SW:TOR was a stupid idea from the start. How the heck does it make sense to have personal decisions being made by a party voting system? Nobody wants that, I want to make my choices my self.

This idea was broken from the start. It was just a poor excuse to slap a Bioware logo on the box of an MMO. Nice job EA.

On topic though: CD Project made a game that was everything Dragon Age 2 should have been and more with Witcher 2.

I'll gladly support what ever they are developing.

DOMination-4141d ago

Lets actually wait and see these projects before predicting this. Just because their last game was great means nothing. The first Witcher was an average game but everyone seems to have forgotten that!

Karooo4142d ago (Edited 4142d ago )

I dunno better be Witcher 3 rather than some random game.

Irishguy954142d ago

Well, at least we can trust them as good developers right? Even if it's not Witcher 3 it'll likely be good.

I also hope for Witcher 3 though. Can't wait to see what happens next

--Onilink--4142d ago

well the "random" game was kinda already announced. They said they were working on 2 games. One is Cyberpunk 2077 (working title i guess) and the other one, based on what they were hiring for, its pretty much guaranteed to be TW3

snipes1014141d ago

I hope they aren't forgetting about Cyberpunk. That one had me so excited.

SnakeCQC4142d ago

these are some awesome devs and i can't wait

Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk

I am so ready

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan35d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
