Why March 2013 is the Greatest Month for Gaming in Years

OXCGN:

"2012 was an above average year for gaming.

We got tons of major franchise iterations like Far Cry 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Borderlands 2, and Assassin’s Creed III.

In addition to these solid titles, we also received a plethora of new IP and imaginative adventures: Dishonored, Journey, and Spec Ops: The Line, to name a few.

While these were excellent games, it feels as if not that many were actually released in 2012.

The first quarter of 2013 alone tops the entirety of 2012′s lineup, and you’ll see why."

Really looking forward to every single one of these.

BioShock is so close...

FarEastOrient4130d ago

This is the month to go for broke with so many games coming out.

SilentNegotiator4129d ago (Edited 4129d ago )

Definitely the greatest month in gaming in a long time.

Plus, lucky me, I'm going to have a LOT of chickens this spring...I counted the eggs!
I took out a second mortgage worth EXACTLY how many chickens will hatch and everything.

gaminoz4129d ago

Some great titles for sure. The last hurrah for current gen consoles?

Hooshuwashu4130d ago

i think i'm the only one excited for Metro.

DeusExer4130d ago

I too am excited for Metro.

Proeliator4130d ago

Definitely an underrated game... loved 2033 and LL looks absolutely fantastic

SilentNegotiator4129d ago

Stop calling it under-rated. It managed an 80 on Metacritic and sold 1.5 million.

DeusExer4130d ago

This is the first time I've actually been excited for a new Tomb Raider game.

Really like the look and vibe of the new reboot.

gaminoz4129d ago

Agree totally. As long as it doesn't play clunky.

Riderz13374130d ago

God of War Ascension! I really didn't think SSM could make multiplayer work but god damn is it amazing. So much fun, I can't wait till PS Plus users get to play so that more people will be online.

EddieNX 4130d ago

Fu*k most of those games. It's the 3DS which is gettin my money this march.

Fire emblem , Castlevania MoF , Monster Hunter Ultimate .

Pretty sure Luigis Mansion Dark moon and Animal Crossing come out around then too.

GTAV and Aliens colonial Marines and Bioshock are all huge too.

Y_51504129d ago

I haven't gotten a 3DS games sine August! I'm glad they are finally releasing Dark Moon but that's the only game I'm interested in getting for the system unfortunately...so far but I bet there are going to be great announcements for the handheld this year!

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing693d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos3d ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Demetrius2d ago

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy853d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius2d ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
