First Dragon Quest X Wii U Footage Appears, Will Use The GamePad Extensively

During the Japanese Nintendo Direct that was aired today fans finally got a good glimpse of Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online on the Wii U.

They really should have released this on PS3 and Xbox 360 to.

Actually I would have preferred if they released on PS3 and Xbox 360 instead of Wii.

ni no kuni on PS3 Looks much better, so I'm very disappointed in the wiiU so far. At least match the graphics!!

I think was a wii port they decided to release on U. So of course the graphics aren't going to be the best they can be. I've never played Dragon Quest before, this might be the first one I try.

The WiiU version is pretty much a direct port of the Wii version. Real disappointing that SE is just being lazy instead of showing off what sets the WiiU apart from other consoles. Why even get the WiiU version if it's just the same game but releasing later?

Why even bother?! it just made the wiiU look bad cause the graphics still suck... I think if they ported DQ8 from the PS2 would have been much better! I'd buy it since I didn't get to finish it...

It all has to do with desire to utilize the system... for whatever reason SE decided not to vastly upgrade the appearance.

The added Gamepad support probably has something to do with that.

Where does it say it's a port? All it says is that the DS version is not getting localized because of "too many hurdles".

This game is gonna be awesome, as long as they don't change the gameplay like they did with FF, it will be fine. Graphics have never been what the Dragon Warrior series has ever been about.
