Modern Zorker writes, "Continuing the horror titles on PSP from the third issue of Gaming on Batteries Magazine, we have Dead Head Fred – It’s often said that game designers must have a screw loose somewhere, but nowhere in the portable gaming scene is this more accurate than this utterly unique tale of a hard-boiled detective who gets killed in the line of duty and brought back to life without a head so that he can solve the case of his own murder, mostly by, uh, “borrowing” brains from other people. I hate when that happens. DHF isn’t really a horror story, but it’s certainly got plenty to recommend it for the list anyway. "
Underrated Game of the Week: Dead Head Fred (PSP, PS Vita)
Heck yes this is an underated gem, one of my favourite psp gamez
SBG: "The Best to Own Forever series isn’t about what’s great right now. It’s about what will be great in 10 years, even though there will be better-looking games and later sequels, and what will keep you pulling that dusty old console out of the closet every once in a while. In this installment, we look at the PlayStation Portable."
Good list. Wanting to get Corpse Party on my Vita.
Though I would add Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (if you can read Japanese, then portable 3'rd) and Phantasy Star Portable 2, which had a very entertaining story behind it.
I loved my PSP, but when I got my Vita I gave it to a friend who loves JRPG's but never had the money for one.
gran turismo psp should be there since it took almost forever to be released!
and also midnight club 3 DUB edition since its a full PS2 game in the PSP!
While it's by no means an amazing game, people should play Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. It's the closest thing to a 3D River City Ransom you're going to get.
And besides, who doesn't want to have an eye-laser showdown with a Japanese punkass schoolboy?
Joystick Division looks at ten great but lesser known PSP games that deserve to be played.
