Sick of hearing about Mass Effect 3's ending yet? If you're still furious over what went down, then you might find your opinion satisfactorily reaffirmed by this -- a logical breakdown of why Mass Effect 3's ending makes no sense.
This weighty tome, which is still being edited, compiles all the arguments against BioWare's narrative decisions. It's only concerned with the writing of the ending, not with the impact of player choices or the accusations that fans were lied to. It seeks to demonstrate why the plot simply does not work.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4
if bioware gives in to these entitled gamers you can kiss your dreams of gaming becoming an art form goodbye. Art is an expression of the artist not the critic. i wouldnt change my art because others dont like it.
Hey what's up with the mass effect fiasco lately?

The attached document is merely showing logically-speaking why the ending doesn't quite work with the entire franchise.
I played all 3 games and loved them all, however I do agree the ending was a bit off. I'm not demanding Bioware change the ending, but I can't just disregard a disappointing / slapped-together ending that's supposed to end the trilogy.
It felt like a term paper that we've all written - by the time the conclusion arrives, we just want to finish the paper and have it done already. If we're going to refer to this game as art, then the ending should feel AS ARTISTIC as the entire game (Mass Effect 3) was.
Make no mistake, the game is awesome! But the ending...it's almost shocking how it was pretty much disjointed and mediocre.
That's why I respect this document - using facts, evidence, and logical arguments that merely discuss why the ending could have been just a tad bit more thought out.
...oh yeah, you absolutely have a right to disagree with gamers who feel the ending should be changed. Calling them "Entitled" and "Spoiled" only works with elitist people who believe what THEY say is what really counts. Disagree respectfully and stop with the name calling - you look worse than the "entitled" gamers themselves.
