"For the first time in a long time and probably last time until Dragon Quest X comes out, a Wii game has claimed the top spot. Well, I say this even though all signs point to a Wii-U transition for that game. Heck when was the last time we even heard anything about DQX anyway?" -PSLS
Nintendo has registered new trademarks in Japan for multiple games including Elite Beat Agents, Rhythm Heaven, and Disaster: Day of Crisis. The trademarks made recently include their other famous IPs Super Mario, Mario Bros., Yoshi’s Crafted World and Kirby’s Epic Yarn as well.
Nintendo trademarks four new titles. The names of the titles are Wrecking Crew, Rhythm Heaven, Mario Super Sluggers, and Golden Sun. Let us hope something new will come from these trademarks, either a remake or a new title.
Wrecking Crew and Rhythm Heaven sound like they could be cool new IPs.
So many great games, so many franchises saved by developers revisiting exactly what it is players want. Hopefully, other developers wallowing in mediocrity can look to these games as blueprints for what they should do going forward.
PSP is always going strong, I wonder how the Vita will effect it.
DQX is going to be on Wii?
"when was the last time we even heard anything about DQX anyway?"
