If the game had taken the subtle darkly comedic approach of Killer7, it may have found some success. But even this wouldn’t disguise the dated game-play concepts and the pedestrian level design. Man, I’d love to get a sequel. I wish that’s was this was instead of a remaster, but it’s such a niche title. It won’t sell gamgbusters, unfortunately.
I am not sure what they are looking for sales wise but it can’t be much more than it originally sold if it’s even that much. I’d guess it just needs to sell well enough but who knows what that actually is. I still have the PS3 copy not sure if I’ll buy a remaster or not.
