Dead Island: Riptide Co-op Impressions [Capsule Computers]

Zac Elawar from Capsule Computers wrote:

"We recently had the chance to get in some 4 player, system link co-op on Dead Island: Riptide. Played on the Xbox 360, the session was 3 hours long (!!) and gave a pretty complete idea of what to expect from this sequel – sold as a spin-off – which will be releasing on April 26th in Europe and nation-wide here in Australia."

It's basically a large expansion.

It's not going to be full price

Don't know why someone disagreed with you...they've already stated it is cheaper than usual retail (I believe $10 cheaper US).

While I agree about the lack of great and basic improvements (and the negative of adding the second worse mission type, tower defense, only behind the scorting type), I am eager for more Dead Island, a very beloved game, so I'm 95% getting it day one.

Their mission design is terrible, horrible, in every possible sense, but the gameplay got me completely addicted.

The last 5% is, as usual, due to being mainly a PS3 gamer and always having to worry about barely playable ports.

dead island to this day is still so buggy, still cant do a 4 man co-op without somebody not being able to connect.

I'm thinking this is the game that they wanted to release the first time.

Edit

After reading the article. Lol nah

Mmm, I never experienced all of the bugs that people complained about. I loved Dead Island so I'm really looking forward to this one even with it being the same gameplay features with new areas and enemies.
