Very interesting. I wonder if he will drop any hints of how development on next gen consoles is coming along ;)

Good-Smurf1925d ago (Edited 1925d ago )

Shu did it with Project Morpheus (PS VR dev kit) back in GDC 2014.

DaDrunkenJester1925d ago

If he is the keynote then I'm sure it will be a pretty standard speech about how the game industry is changing and becoming more inclusive and how Sony is taking the charge with that etc.

Probably a very similar theme from last year since the diversity politics haven't really changed much since then.

rainslacker1925d ago

That's not a typical topic for dice. The topics themselves tend to be broader than that, although talk of future technologies or new modes of development aren't uncommon.

This guy's head looks a little big for his body, don't you think?

letsa_go1925d ago

haha He has such a punchable face...and that damn lisp!

Rimeskeem1925d ago

I thought that was Spencer

TK-551925d ago

@Rimeskeem

Nah that was Don Mattrick.

letsa_go1924d ago

Don Mattrick is pretty punchable too. Spencer reminds me of Vince Vaughn.

UltraNova1925d ago (Edited 1925d ago )

Haha , right?

@ letsa_go
Also the most "punchable" face in the industry award goes to..... Aaron Greenberg, by 1999999 miles.
Runner ups: Todd Howard and Lord Gaben.

Michiel19891925d ago

nah Gaben is too much of a teddybear, hes more huggable than punchable

Kojima talks about creating story in games: I’m not very interested in multi-ending story technique

Kojima is not a fan of putting multiple endings in a game, he said in the online series The Game Makers, created by The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.

And that's fine for Kojima's games if that's his thoughts on it. I do like a solid story.

But I wouldn't take games like Way of the Samurai any other way. The multiple endings in that story besides the multiple weapons made it what it was as a game. Love this game and those like it.

Nyxus2625d ago

Yeah, for some games it works really well, especially titles like Heavy Rain and Until Dawn.

ApocalypseShadow2625d ago

True.Lol! Know what's funny?

I reread what i said...

I said "I like a solid story"...I didn't notice I had made a metal gear pun until I looked at the word solid.

That's funny.

SmielmaN2624d ago

I def enjoy a multi ending game.

But I do understand why Kohima wouldn't want to make one. He takes his story very seriously so I bet if he wanted to do 2 dif endings he would have to craft almost 2 dif stories and increase his dev time considerably.

The dude has retconned his own story about 50 times, I think he's not the best person to take story advice from.

Nyxus2624d ago

It isn't even meant as advice, he just explains his own methods and preferences, as do the other creators in the video.
