I can understand why many didn't, but I enjoyed Dead Island on PC. It had some bugs, but the most memorable one was the item duplication trick. I was throwing my legendary katanas like they were knives.

This is the game I'm most looking forward to in the mental post xmas early 2015 release schedule. It looks fantastic, just the sort of game I enjoy. And yes, I enjoyed the Dead Island games too, warts and all.

Because Dead Island isn't a horror game. It might be a good game, but it's not a good horror game.

It doesn't look like horror, from what we've seen it just looks like a toned down Dead Island. Which isn't all that appealing honestly.

I don't think Techland know how to do horror.

I didn't hit nearly as many snags in Dead Island as people claim. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. But it didn't have any bugs that I came across that would be considered game breaking or hurt my experience in any way. I loved it.

I enjoyed the first Dead Island(the only one I bought) so they certainly did not "rip me off".

I don't get the hate. I watched a lot of video footage of DI and dying light doesn't remind me of it. DL looks much more intense than anything I saw in DI. btw - those night-time vids of DL are really where the game cranks up the intensity. plus, it'll have co-op.
I'll give it a go.

Dead Island was a great concept but the game was flawed with the sheer amount of bugs and graphics issues.

That said, when it was good it was fun as hell - and the sheer size of the area was very impressive.

Some of the people commenting do nothing but project negativity and misery. These people aren't satisfied unless they can convince others to be negative and miserable with them. It's a sign that they aren't happy with themselves, so they project that misery on what ever is convenient. I just hope that Techland didn't delay this game to turn it into a repetitive bunch of nothing like Watch Dogs.
