September Cover Revealed – Assassin's Creed Rogue And Unity | Game Informer

Game Informer writes, "The Assassin's Creed series has transported us throughout history, taking us to the the Third Crusade, Renaissance Italy, the American Revolution, and the colonial Caribbean, among many other times and locales. The franchise has also grown into a juggernaut over the past seven years, with annual releases keeping the enthusiasm alive. Over the past four years, Ubisoft has been working on Assassin's Creed Unity, its vision for the franchise on new-gen consoles. The only other entry to have this long of a development cycle was the first game. While Ubisoft is looking forward, it hasn't forgotten the past. Not only has it gone back to the series' roots to reinvent it for the new generation, but it's also filling a hole in its history and storyline with one final last-gen surprise: Assassin's Creed Rogue. This month, we examine both games and the future of the franchise in an exciting double feature with two unique covers."

I can see the Templar (well former Assassin's turn traitor) character being interesting to play as but I can see why the have done two versions this time around. I don't know what it is but rouge seems like another AC IV but in a different skin

Sevir3552d ago

Well it is supposedly closing the series off on PS3/XB360 and suppose to be the final story within the AC3-AC4 family/arc.

Lukebb913552d ago

If this is real his outfit looks very similar to the templar armour edward unlocks in ac4
But i think its fake

Sevir3552d ago

Why would game informer have a dual feature on a fake game? 😩 I give

LAWSON723552d ago

It is not fake there is literally no debating it.

listenkids3552d ago

Two AC titles within 2 weeks of each other, ugh. Give me more time, please.

BiggerBoss3552d ago

So whatever happened to AC Comet?

BABI-PANGPANG3552d ago

Either they changed the name or there's another Vita game coming up, which I doubt..

SgtClutch1173552d ago

No, Comet was a codename.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
