"
Resident Evil 4 was launched in 2005 on GameCube and it ushered a new era for the franchise with its new perspective and play style, which were inherited by the sequels as well. Capcom ported the game to multiple platforms, and the game was welcomed by the already succeeding console generation on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Even though nine years is a lot of time for a proper PC port, there are reasons why we needed it. Resident Evil 4 has been available on PC since 2007, but its release was appalling when compared to its console brethren. The horrible impressions were created mostly by the technical details, given the lack of mouse controls and the option to adjust visual settings."
Chris has released some new comparison screenshots between the vanilla and the modded version of Resident Evil 4, showcasing some of the latest 3D improvements/corrections and recreations.
Capcom need to get in touch with this guy and release this on the PS4/Xbox One
I know I know, another re-release of RE4 but this is one I would buy. With a bit more work it would probably feel more refreshing while playing
Looks pretty amazing, Its just a shame they wont be truly rewarded for the work these guys do, and this also goes for the guy making the MGS1 remake. At the end of the day, they dont own what there making, they cant make money off what there making, I wish they would put there skills into something new that they can call there own.
Chris has released some new comparison screenshots between the vanilla and the modded version of RE4, showing the incredible work the team has put into this upcoming Texture Pack.
Great work, though I'm not sure who is interested in playing this game again. I played it with HD textures in 2008 or something like that.
If Capcom ever release a HD RE4 (again) on the Xbox One and PS4 then they need to get in contact with this guy.
Albert’s and Chris’ HD project for Resident Evil 4 is coming along really nicely and today they have released a whole bunch of screenshot comparisons that take us back to the iconic rural Village.
Honestly, i know a lot did not enjoy this game as nearly much as i did, it was still leaps and bounds better then the turds that followed.
I'm not really sure how disappointing a re-release of a rel-release of a re-release of an almost ten year-old game can be.
