Where is Killzone: Mercenary? this game deserves it

hulk_bash19873782d ago (Edited 3782d ago )

Best Handheld shooter so far with some really fun multiplayer on the go.

BelkingOfSony3782d ago (Edited 3782d ago )

take out spelunky and mario and luigi dream team and phoenix wright ace attorney, put in killzone mercenary and soul sacrifice and dragons crown, and the list is perfect.

Solid list. Having a 3DS this year was kind of awesome, even though I didn't play all the good games for it yet.

Now that Vita's price has dropped within my Buy range, I will be getting one.

I still have a back log of PSP games on my PSP that I've only owned for a year.

I feel bad abandoning it for the Vita just yet, as I love the PSP and want to get more enjoyment and my money's worth from it before I make the jump.

This allows more games to be released, which makes the Vita even more appealing.

2014 Should be a damn good year for Console, PC & Handheld games.

kB03782d ago (Edited 3782d ago )

Agreed Mercs should have made it there.

Other than that, it's a solid list, with exception to Ace Attorney (but I'm jut not a fan of that game:P).

Also the line up that came out just yesterday for vita is pretty damn good:D

Exactly. Killzone is the best shooter on a handheld device EVER so it should have a guaranteed spot on all best handheld games list.

I wouldn't put Animal Crossing over Link Between Worlds, but all solid games on that list.

3-4-53782d ago

They nailed the list...the order is iffy, but I'm sure everybody's order would be slightly different based on personal experience with the game and tastes in games.

crazysammy3782d ago

Yep good point very true. I liked the list as well.

For me this year its gonna be

Best 3ds game: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Best Vita game: Tearaway

DoctorJones3782d ago

I've just started playing Tearaway now my son's finished it, it's great so far, gonna play some more tonight. It's certainly a lovely looking game.

Tidybrutes3782d ago

Tearaway is amazing, the most a game has made me smile in a long time, a pretty easy platinum too apart from a few coupple of tricky ones (Tower of doom & Between the pages).

TongkatAli3782d ago

For best Vita game its a tie between Tearaway and YS

DEATHxTHExKIDx3782d ago

Fire Emblem: Awakening at #6 is a bit shocking that is my #1 game this year.

SuperWeeb3782d ago

No Killzone? No Ys? Not even the hidden gem that is Malicious Rebirth?
Yet there's Spelunky, Hotline Miami, Luigi's Mansion and Mario & Luigi Dream Team? Or rather if you're allowing multiplats, no Dragons Crown?

There have been far more deserving games this year, my friend.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - Classic Zelda turns 10

The Nintendo 3DS' The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is now 10 years old, yet remains a remarkable experience.

kythlyn153d ago

Calling this classic feels so weird to me. It's still the newest game in the old style... hope they make another one.

FinalFantasyFanatic152d ago

I would love a remake of Link to the Past, one in a similar vain to Link's Awakening.

Neonridr153d ago

it was an awesome game and utilized the 3D very well on the 3DS. A Link to the Past is one of my favorite Zelda games, so this one being a true sequel to that title really hit home with me.

franwex152d ago

I bought this very long ago, and it’s still in my backlog!

10 Video Game Sequels That Saved Their Franchise

Video game sequels like Assassin's Creed Origins, Doom (2016), and Fire Emblem Awakening were just what these franchises needed to be revitalized.

Immagaiden356d ago

Lmao what’s Halo Infinite doing on this list?

Who would ever say Halo Infinite saved the Halo franchise

SullysCigar356d ago

Thought the same - very bizarre!

RE7 though... my God, what a shift over RE6! That franchise was definitely going in the wrong direction, so RE7 was a welcome return to form.

ModsDoBetter356d ago

Resi 6 was and still is the worst entry in the series.
7 was a great turnaround, despite people’s concerned about the switch to FP perspective.

DMC5 definitely helped the franchise after the whole DmC debacle. Whilst it was a decent action game, it was a far cry from the series and the characters we knew.

AC Origins is my favourite in the entire AC series. Despite the switch to a more RPG style of gameplay - the setting, soundtrack, length, etc were all amazing. sadly followed up by the ridiculously long and “more of the same” Odsyssey.

I don’t feel it’s fair to say the franchise slipped with Doom 3, Doom 3 was incredibly atmospheric and took the game in a different direction but there’s no denying Doom (2016) was sensational.

Halo 4 & 5 were disappointing but Halo Infinite definitely didn’t save the franchise? What?

TheEnigma313356d ago (Edited 356d ago )

I'm going to have to go with SMB 3. I was around when SMB 2 first came out and people hated it. 3 is still arguably the best mario game created.

HellspawnPR1981356d ago

"Halo Infinite"? Worse Halo ever. Whoever made this list just lost all credibility.

Hofstaderman356d ago

In future lists of a similar nature I have a suspicion Final Fantasy XVI will feature.
