ItProportal spent a lot of time comparing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in terms of hardware specs, software, and games, but one thing we haven’t discussed is the engineering side – the form and design of these consoles. Physically, the Xbox One and PS4 are very different consoles: While the Xbox is huge and boxy (aptly enough), the PS4 is much slimmer and lighter.
"The Barcelona-based (Spain) indie games publisher JanduSoft and indie games developer Juan-Mod, are today very glad and proud to announce that their 3D arcade action-platformer "Teared", is now available for PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord brings back the classic experience with revamped graphics and other improvements.
"The Spain-based indie games publisher Firenut Games and Granada-based (Spain) indie games developer Trigger the Monster, today announced with great joy and thrill that their dark fantasy adventure/management game “Search of Light” (AKA SOL), is now available for PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
One is a hardware company and the other is a software company. It is that simple from my perspective.
Simple PS4 is primarily a gaming machine. And the bone is primarily a media machine with games as an after thought.
Design that doesn't take up half the chassis with a fan?
Because they have been in the business of developing and making hardware for decades.
Stupid article. Xbox is heavier and larger because they were scarred about heat issues. Done.
