I'd say several of the titles on this list are easily more overrated than Skyrim. Both TESV and Fallout 3 would make my top 10, along with Dishonored, RDR and DX:HR.

I think Skyrim is a tad bit overrated. I started playing it on PS3 and the game is just a complete mess. I would have rated it like a 4 or 5 out of 10 had I only played on PS3.

Recently started playing PC version and it definitely plays better but still, Skyrim wouldn't be in my top 10. Probably top 20 for me personally.

i went as far as the bugs allowed in skyrim on ps3 , then i bought a new pc for skyrim and put 400+ hr in it and the dlc
i'd have red dead redemption on my list as well , i wasn't a big fan of journey or walking dead (but they were still very good games)

I loved Skyrim i had 500 hours of play times. Then it corrupted all my saves.... I dont own Skyrim anymore.

Skyrim isn't the best for a great many reasons. Firstly being that it has way more bugs on consoles than on PC's. Then the fact that it just wasn't that impressive. I mean, seriously. The spiders, one of the first enemies. Just flaccidly drop to the ground. When a giant spider falls to the ground while appearing to be standing on an invisible platform. Any AAA developer worth their salt would be ashamed.

as beathuber pointed out i don't just not see xbox exclusives, because i don't believe any xbox exclusive belongs on a 10 list but any exclusives from Wii or PC. i can only assume anyone who would put Rayman legends in a top 10 could enjoy games like Mario galaxy or Donkeykong kountry returns enough to put on the list.

I thought both Rayman and Ratchet had better platformers than DK and Mario this gen, though Mario's were fantastic, had I not gone with Legends, my next choice would have been Tools of Destruction.

I don't deny those are great games,but i don't believe they are better than say,MGS4,Starcraft2 Red Dead redemption,Skyward Sword,Mario Galaxy,Xenoblade,Uncharted,Bio shock,Smash Bros,and Metroid Prime 3. already thats 10 games. i don't like racing sims, i'll pick most genres over shooters aswell.

Of course thats my opinion.

Personally I place TLOU above Uncharted. Uncharted was fantastic but the characters and their struggles never felt that real. It's more Indiana Jones vs The Road. At the end of Uncharted you feel happy it's over and eager to jump into multilayer. At the end of TLOU you sit numb, staring at the screen, trying to understand what the f××k just happened.

I don't know how I feel about this list... Some of my favorite games of this gen are GTA IV & V, Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Galaxy, Gears of War 1 & 3, The Last of Us, Super Meat Boy, Far Cry 3 and The Walking Dead.

My main console this generation has been the 360, and looking at the games on my shelf that have spanned this generation, I'm not surprised at the lack of 360 titles in this list. Microsoft have been stuck on Halo and Gears of War this gen, and what else do they have that's even top 50 material? The majority of my games are multi platform, and I'm now just realising that going Xbox this gen was a big mistake. Definitely won't be making that same mistake this time around.

Come on Mario Galaxy edges out Rayman and as good as GTA V is the more I play it the less I feel like it's a masterpiece. It's a great game but #2 in the entire generation no way.
