Push Square: "Mecho Wars creator Luc Bernard loves the PlayStation Vita. Speaking as part of an exclusive interview, the ambitious British developer, who’s currently hard at work on free-to-play action game Reaper, told us that he thinks that the device is the greatest handheld system on the market – and that he’d happily go first-party if given the opportunity."
Push Square: "Luc Bernard may still be short of 30 years in age, but he’s already something of a veteran to the video game business. Perhaps best known by PlayStation fans for micro-download Mecho Wars, the British designer has also courted controversy at times, with his Holocaust-based Imagination Is the Only Escape bringing buckets of inevitable media attention when it was announced. Having kept his head down for a few years, the likeable luminary is now very much back in the game, with a couple of free-to-play titles for the PlayStation Vita: Reaper and Desert Ashes. We caught up with the auteur to learn a little more about both titles – and any latent plans for the PlayStation 4."
Great stuff, really enjoyed mechno wars, looking forward to more from this guy.
Reaper, a free-to-play action RPG, is coming exclusively to the PS Vita. Luc Bernard has recently released more information concerning his RPG involving Death and her army of Reapers.
Push Square: "Reaper has been decaying in a decrepit crypt for some time now. Shortly after the smartphone release of the excellent Advance Wars imitator Mecho Wars, ambitious British developer Luc Bernard set to work on the colourful PlayStation Portable title, promising a traditional two-dimensional affair starring a mindless minion of Death. Three years after its initial announcement, the title is set point a cold hard finger at the PlayStation Vita – and you won’t even need to open your wallet to enjoy its macabre charm."
