Look forward to FFXV & KH3. In the meantime i'll be playing "Tales of Xillia" and looking forward to "Tales of Xillia 2"

It will pretty much reveal next to nothing and say "Our next scheduled time to discuss KH3 is November 2016 where we hope to have at least 1/6 of the game finished.

those target renders they showed at E3 was it gameplay or something there aiming for because they looked as good if not better then the CGI in Kingdom Hearts 1! AMAZING!!!

I think I know why the creator wanted to wait a whole generation because there was a interview a few years back around the time ps3 was released how he wanted the next kingdom hearts to look like a Pixar movie and people to be immersed just like the movies that are featured in the series.

"I believe he said he was inspired by the Toy Story movies?"

it was mostly CGI except for like 5 seconds when Sora's about to fight the heartless and then when he's riding on them like a surfboard is CGI again.

KH3 and FFXV have taken a lot of time because of FFXIII, the PS3 exotic architecture and bad managing from Wada. They made an expensive in-house engine and all their games like Last Remnant, Star Ocean IV, Infinite Undiscovery flopped one after the other. FF13 sold well so they decided to milk it and kept pushing back KH3 and FFXV over and over again to use the resource to make FF13-2 and FF14 until Wada got fired.

Nomura didn't even want to make FFXV anymore, he proposed to turn it into a music game but it was denied. FFXV came before KH3 because it had bigger hype behind it. During this time he was allowed to make KH DDD since it was a handheld game which used minimal resource because most of it was focused on FF13 saga milkage and trying to fix the mess that FF14 was.

Yeah but I do believe Tetsuya Nomura is going to try and aim for that quality so I think of it as a target render? Since after all that was the only footage we have yet to see of it and at the same time it doesn't look up to pare with Kingdom Hearts 2 CGI.

In the end they didn't get any info except it'll shock players of the orginal. I swear if they kill cloud or Tifa imma be pissed. Barret to for that matter. They can't die.

I'm starting to wonder if cloud does catch the L though.

I wonder how alternate dimension Zack will tie in. Maybe dies in one and not the other? Will they converge? Exciting stuff either way.

Sephiroushin116d ago (Edited 116d ago )

Me too, on latest trailer marlene was talking with Zack a mentioned “when she wakes up a scary man is gonna kill her” I guess she was talking about Aerith but makes you wonder is she was talking about something else completely unrelated!

Sephiroushin116d ago (Edited 116d ago )

Just like the bazillions mistakes and mistranslation the OG has, Aeris is one of them, it’s a literal translation, although it can end “s” or “th”, should we use Kuraudo or Baretto huh? …

While i kinda like Aeris more because of JP, It’s been confirmed for many years that Aeris was a mistranslation and now it has finally been corrected to Aerith.

Barlos116d ago

I know it was a mistranslation, but she'll always be Aeris to me because that's what she was called in the version I played. And also because Aerith just sounds like Aeris but said with a short tongue 😂

I want to experience the shock again in 4k current gen graphics.
