Although this previously seemed nailed down, comments by Microsoft Corporate Vice President Phil Harrison yesterday during his Eurogamer Expo talk re-opened speculation about how long Xbox One’s DVR capabilities would allow you to record game footage. While showcasing Xbox One’s Upload Studio, Harrison said users could record ”as much or as little as they wanted.” Microsoft now says that these comments were taken out of context, and that the previously known figure of 5 minutes recording time is still correct.
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map is going to bring several changes to the in-game island, and Epic Games may have leaked some of them.
Players looking forward to exploring the new content can now enjoy a preview of what to expect.
With Arkane Austin no more and Lyon living for who knows how long, the superb Dishonored is in serious danger; Microsoft cannot be trusted.
I love the Dishonored series so much and really want Dishonored 3. Microsoft better not screw this up.
I mean, I think the fans will probably kill Arkane Lyon by cooking up reasons to hate whatever they do next without playing it. I've never seen a game so artificially disliked as Deathloop.
Lol, why don't we just say, we are worried about all studios owned by MS now. They will keep closing studios until they have none left ...🙄
I think it's becoming clear based on matt bootys comments there's no future for any IP that can't sell above 10 million within the launch window. But is also a small game that gives them prestige
/S it's beyond a joke right now
hmm i guess 5minutes is okay if you just want to save a quick/funny moment
but it is not enough for the entire gameplay of a match of TDM or something
I think 15minutes is the right amount
but hey, they both have external capture card support, so i guess it really doesn't matter, unless you dont want to buy a capture card.
More MS clarification. They need to get everyone on the same page.
5 mins is about as long my patience is for M$ at the moment!
I'm not much of a gameplay recording type, well tbh I don't care for the feature at all, but for the people who do, does it mean [even though it is really inconvenient] I can record 5 mins, then continue recording until I stop, eg a entire mp match? Or is it ONLY 5 mins at a given time?
This applies for PS4, even though it's 15 mins but still.
Confused :S
at least it saves to the cloud and not the hdd
